Alfa Romeo 155 (167), 01.1992 – 12.1997
After a successful first season in 1992, in which racing drivers Alessandro Nannini and Nicola Larini confidently won the Italian Touring Car Championship in a 155 equipped with a 2-litre turbo four-cylinder engine, the first 155s, now with a V6 engine, were entered in the German DTM Touring Car Championship from 1993.
Larini won the championship at the first attempt and laid the foundation for a long and extremely successful career for the 155 in motorsport.
