Giulietta (116), 10.1977 - 12.1985

The Giulietta is a four-door mid-size sedan from Alfa Romeo that was built from the summer of 1977 to the end of 1985. The type designation “Giulietta” was used several times by Alfa Romeo over the years.
The Giulietta (Type 116) was introduced in autumn 1977 as the successor to the Giulia.
The design of the Giulietta, developed by Ermanno Cressoni in Alfa Romeo's Centro Stile, was massively criticized; it was one of the reasons for the decline of the brand and falling sales figures in Germany.
