Hexagon nuts DIN 6923 (similar to EN 1661) with flange, without ribs

DIN 6923
1 to 2 (from a total of 2)
DIN 934 hexagon nuts are normal height counterparts with an internal thread to a screw or a threaded bolt. Both together form a screw connection. Simply put: a hexagon nut only has an internal thread and no head of its own with a drive (exceptions are nuts with a hexagon neck). They have a right-turning metric standard thread (M).

The applications for hexagon nuts are innumerable. Hexagon nuts are particularly often used in mechanical and plant engineering, electrical engineering, in home and handicrafts or in hobby for vintage cars, motorcycles or cars.

Accessories for DIN 934 hexagon nuts

Hexagon nuts should ideally be secured with a washer or a screw lock. Due to the larger diameter of a washer (cf. DIN 9021 washers with 3 times the outside diameter), the force acting on the nut is better distributed over the carrier material and the nut does not press into the material.
