Mercedes-Benz Classic is constantly reproducing original parts for classic vehicles in order to ensure a comprehensive and long-term supply of parts.
In addition to parts that are no longer available and need to be reissued, new parts are also manufactured that have not been available for a long time. This involves an enormous amount of effort, because original parts are parts developed by Mercedes-Benz or on behalf of Mercedes-Benz that are manufactured according to the company's exact standards - this also applies to all reissues and reproductions.
In many cases, Mercedes-Benz Classic can still draw on the research and development facilities, the factory's experience in prototype construction and the latest technical possibilities for original reproduction. In the case of original supplied parts, the original series supplier or one of over 150 certified suppliers takes over the new production if possible. This guarantees 100% authenticity, quality and therefore safety when the parts are reissued.
