1750/2000 Berlina (105), 03.1968 - 07.1975

After production of the Alfa Romeo 2600 Berlina ended in autumn 1969, the 1750 Berlina was Alfa Romeo's largest limousine. In the spring of 1972, the Alfa Romeo Alfetta, a car of approximately the same size, was released and both were offered in parallel for four years.
Her body was designed by Bertone. The similarity to the successful Giulia was unmistakable. The wheelbase was extended by 60 mm and the longer overhangs made the vehicle more spacious. An unusual detail was the counter-rotating butterfly-style windshield wiper arrangement, which was also found on other models of the brand at this time.
